Equations
In the following the equations used in the individual chapters of the book are given as .tex and .pdf files. The programs LaTeXIt and TeXShop were used to create the equations.
Most of the equations in the lectures (only the keynote files) can be directly edited in LaTeXit.
If you use other programs, such as PowerPoint, the following trick can be useful: If you want to change the LaTeX equations and you don't have a LaTeX program which works together with your presentation program, you can cut out the equations from the pdf file which is generated by your LaTeX compiler. This can be done by several programs, one of which is
Adobe Acrobat.
