Lectures

The lectures are created with Apple's Keynote program. This was chosen because it gives very high quality (vector-graphics type) output. The lectures are also provided as pdf and PowerPoint but the former cannot be modified easily and the latter look somewhat inferior.

  1. 1.lecture 1 (crystals) as keynote, pdf, powerpoint.

  2. 2.lecture 2 (bonding in solids) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint

  3. 3.lecture 3 (mechanical properties) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.

  4. 4.lecture 4 (thermal properties) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.

  5. 5.lecture 5 (metals, classical) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.

  6. 6.lecture 6 (electronic structure, quantum) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.

  7. 7.lecture 7 (semiconductors) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.

  8. 8.lecture 8 (magnetism) as keynote, pdf and powerpoint.
